Célestin saw her at the market. Elisabeth was inspecting the gombo closely, pressing her fingers against the skin of the pods. Her furrowed brow was an expression of deep focus. She pressed on one of the pods too hard and it oozed the vegetable’s slime onto her finger. Her face pulled back and her eyebrows raised as she dropped the pod on the floor as if the pod was some alien thing. Célestin laughed to himself, but it was loud enough to gain her attention.
Elisabeth’s eyes darted towards his, her face was awash with embarrassment. Célestin tried to avoid eye contact, but it was no use. Her deep brown irises caught him off guard. They seemed to hold him upright as his heartbeat quickened. After a moment, their suppressed laughter broke free into audible giggling.
As he approached her, the marketplace turned quiet. All he could hear was his heartbeat in his throat and her footsteps coming closer. When they came face to face and their eyes were but centimeters apart, a radiant white light glowed all around them and enveloped them. Elisabeth put her arm around Célestin’s waist and he put his arm around her shoulders as they floated skyward in the bright white orb of light. The marketplace was gone, the city was gone, the world blended into the brilliant light surrounding them until all that was left was two figures embracing in silence.

BRUIT fait partie de ces groupes qui se découvrent surtout en live.
Une claque de tous les instants, à chaque mesure.
Du son des cordes magnifiques à la guitare qui nous enrobe, le voyage est exceptionnel et en vaut la chandelle.
Merci encore 🙏 kevinoudard
Anyone homesick for the classic sound of ’90s math rock will fall in love with the jagged guitars & tricky tempos on “LLC.” Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 6, 2023
I became a big fan with there first album and it got heavy rotation in my evening listening sessions. Every track is stellar and unique in itself. Astodan has the unique ability to bring both raw and controlled emotion and power within every song. I will be purchasing this album and their new live album on wax shortly. Astodan has become not only my favorite band right now but their music is in all my playlists. If I could see one band before I die, this is the band. Frederick Jones
